1. Agreement to Terms
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MEA Studio. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. Your continued use of the site indicates acceptance of any modifications.

 

2. Age Requirement
The site is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. Persons under 18 are not permitted to use or register for the site.

 

3. Intellectual Property
The content on this site, including text, photographs, graphics, designs, logos, trademarks, and site software, is owned by MEA Studio or used under license.

 

Artwork featured on this site remains the intellectual property of the respective artists, who retain all copyright in their work. Images of artwork are reproduced on this site with the permission of the artists. Where an artwork was created by MEA Studio, MEA Studio retains all rights in that work.

 

Purchasing a print, canvas print, original artwork, or vintage find transfers ownership of the physical item only. It does not transfer copyright or grant any right to reproduce, distribute, or commercially use the image.

 

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access site content for personal, non-commercial use only. Any reproduction, distribution, modification, commercial use, or resale of site content or artwork requires prior written permission from MEA Studio and, where applicable, the artist.

 

4. Artificial Intelligence and Data Mining
You may not use any content from this site, including artwork, images, photographs, and text, to train, fine-tune, test, or otherwise develop artificial intelligence or machine learning systems, including generative AI, or to build datasets for these purposes. This applies to automated and manual collection alike. MEA Studio expressly reserves all rights in its content with respect to text and data mining and AI training. No license for these uses is granted or implied by your access to the site.

 

5. User Obligations
By using our site, you agree to:

• Have the legal capacity to comply with these terms

• Provide accurate and complete information

• Use the site only for lawful purposes

• Not use automated systems or bots

• Not attempt to circumvent security measures

• Not engage in harassment or fraudulent activity

• Not scrape or harvest data or content without permission

• Not reproduce, copy, or resell artwork without authorization

• Not use site content for AI training or data mining, as described in Section 4

6. User Submissions
Questions, comments, suggestions, and feedback you submit to us are non-confidential. You grant MEA Studio the right to use them for any purpose without compensation to you.

 

7. Product Information
We strive to display our artwork and products accurately, including colours, dimensions, and materials. However, because our work is printed and reproduced, and because screens and devices vary, we cannot guarantee that your display will perfectly reflect the final product. Minor variations in colour, texture, and tone are inherent to art printing and are not considered defects.

 

8. Orders, Production, Shipping, and Returns
Our made-to-order prints and canvas prints are produced through third-party print and fulfillment partners. Production timelines, shipping options, delivery estimates, and return eligibility are governed by the applicable policies posted on this site.

 

Because our prints and canvas prints are made to order, they are final sale once submitted into production. They are not eligible for return or exchange, except in cases of manufacturing defect or damage in transit. If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging, and we will arrange a replacement or resolution.

Original artwork and vintage finds are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

 

Complimentary standard shipping is included on made-to-order prints and canvas prints within Canada and internationally. International shipments may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by the destination country. Any such charges are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.

 

Shipping for original artwork and vintage finds is subject to the terms on the applicable product page and in our Shipping Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and your use of the site is at your sole risk. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• Site availability or uptime

• Accuracy of information

• Results from site use

• Fitness for a particular purpose

 

10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MEA Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits or revenue

• Loss of data

• Personal injury

• Property damage

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

 

11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MEA Studio from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the site

• Your violation of these terms

• Your infringement of third-party rights

• Any harm caused to others through your actions

 

12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in British Columbia.
